A beautiful vintage ring made of 14k gold with an oval cabochon cut agate. The ring has a setting in the shape of a flower containing the agate. Greek scholar, writer and philosopher, Theophrastus (successor of Aristotle), has a colorful visit to the river Achates (now Dirillo) in Sicily because the stone can be found there, among other things. The agate has a size of approximately 14.7 x 10 mm. This ring is approx. 20.5 mm wide at the top and approx. 1.8 mm at the bottom.
