Memorial Jewelry / Mourning Jewelry
We can make mourning jewelry or memorial jewelry that offers a lasting memory of a loved one or an important event. We understand that it is often not necessary to pay the high prices that funeral directors charge, and that is why we offer custom work at an affordable price.
It is always an honor for us to create or customize a piece of jewelry in memory of a loved one. We are happy to think along with you to create something personal and valuable. Depending on your wishes, we offer the following possibilities:
Create a completely new piece of jewelry , possibly based on your own design.
Making a new piece of jewelry with gold or silver from the loved one in question. This could be a solitaire ring with gemstone, made from an existing wedding ring, or a pendant that we make from an old earring.
Modifying an existing piece of jewelry , such as engraving a fingerprint or handwriting into a ring or pendant, or incorporating ashes into a pendant, charm or other piece of jewelry.
Ashes Processed into a Piece of Jewelry
Processing the ashes of a loved one into a piece of jewelry is a unique way to keep the memory alive. In contrast to the standard "ash jewelry" with lids or screw caps, we can process ashes into a piece of jewelry that really has something to do with the deceased loved one. Think of a soccer shoe, a globe or a miniature dog. The possibilities are endless.
We can also process ashes in many existing gold or silver pendants. We drill a small hole in a charm, for example, place the ashes in it and solder the hole closed again. This custom work is something you can go to a jeweler for and not to the funeral director. This is possible from 35 euros !
In some cases we can even process ashes into rings or other jewelry, provided there is sufficient thickness in the material to work with. Visit our store for more information and discuss the possibilities with us.
Engraving a fingerprint on a piece of jewelry
For engraving a fingerprint of a loved one on a piece of jewelry, you can also contact us. For the best result, we would like to receive a digital image of the fingerprint in high resolution, preferably with clear black and white contrast (PDF or JPEG file).
If you do not have a digital image, we can scan a fingerprint on paper and edit it to make it suitable for engraving. Please note that unclear or faded fingerprints may not produce a good result.
Please note : If engraving is not possible due to the location of the engraving, for example on the inside of a ring or on a curved surface, casting may be a solution. This only applies to new rings. The fingerprint can be incorporated into the design of the ring as a three-dimensional object and cast along with it. The advantage of casting is that more depth is possible, but it is slightly less precise than laser engraving.
Feel free to visit our store or contact us to discuss the possibilities!
