Product description
In order to keep up with the most modern techniques, we think it is important to keep challenging yourself. Nowadays, not only the old-fashioned techniques of the goldsmith and silversmith are at our disposal, but also the new developments in 3D modeling and printing wax that can be used to make detailed molds. For example, the question from one of our customers about "can you make a detailed gun pendant for my necklace" led to a search for what was reasonably possible. We went a little further than perhaps expected. Because just looking detailed was perhaps too easy. Why don't we see if we can make parts move. The end result is impressive even for us.
The miniature gun you see is made of parts drawn on the computer and cast using the lost wax method, parts lasered from silver plate, parts drawn from wire in our studio and everything is finished by hand in our studio. Parts are riveted, soldered, clamped, etc. Surfaces are darkened with blitz stain and lightly polished for the "blued" look or matted to make the surfaces "whiter".
All in all, a prestigious project that took many dozens of hours in terms of design and finishing, but which is also an example of what is possible within our field.
